All support groups are free and open to Carolina Caring clients as well as those in the community who have experienced loss. 

At this time, most support groups require registration. Instructions for participating in virtual meetings will be provided.

This workshop explores how grief affects us physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

The Ripple Effects of Loss
This workshop explores the secondary losses that occur after the death of a loved one.
May 28th from 3p to 4p. Please Register by May 21st.
The Art of Grief
Join in a time of learning how to incorporate creative expression in your grief process.
June 25th from 3p to 4p. Please Register by June 18th.

Spousal/Partner Loss

5-week support group for anyone who has experienced the death of a spouse, partner or significant other.
Beginning on Thursday, May 2nd and continuing every Thursday in May from 5:30p to 7:00p. Please Register for one of the locations by Friday, April 26th:

Mindfulness & Grief

This workshop will provide a variety of relaxation moments and provide tangible tools for coping with stress, anxiety, and sleeplessness.
This group is offered on Thursday, May 21st beginning at 1:00p.

Self Care While Grieving

This workshop offers practical tips on self-care while navigating one’s grief.

Brighter Days Camp

June 6th from 8:30a to 3:00p for children ages 5(must have completed kindergarten) to 18 who have lost someone important in their life. Registration required by May 28th.

Good Mourning Coffee Group

Grab a cup of coffee and join us for an informal time of sharing and connecting with others who are on a journey of healing. No registration required.

Walk a Mile with Me 

This is a support group for caregivers, spouses, and widows/widowers of veterans that fosters healing and provides a safe place to talk about the journey before and after losing a beloved veteran. This group meets virtually using the Zoom platform and requires registration. Instructions for participating are provided.
This group meets virtually the first Tuesday of every month at 1p.
