Brooks earned her nursing degree from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in 1996, and then her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Lees McRae University in 2016. Regardless of the setting, Brooks’ approach has always remained the same.
“No matter what a patient’s diagnosis or prognosis, all are deserving of the same care, compassion and support,” Brooks said.
“While I certainly can’t control any outcomes, I can make tough times and last days be as peaceful as possible with exemplary consideration and support.”
Brooks is an empathetic provider, who believes in offering all patients exceptional care with a patient-based approach, high standards, and the ability to go above and beyond.
Julie is the proud mother of three children. When she is not working, she enjoys family, church, reading, walking, working out, building Legos with her son, watching her daughter dance, watching her children’s athletic events and playing cards with her mom.
“Nursing is not just a career to me; it is my calling.”
