Carolina Caring is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead our corporate compliance initiatives and ensure full adherence to state and federal regulations, including Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial business requirements. This key leadership role is responsible for maintaining accreditation, managing risk, and developing proactive compliance strategies that uphold the highest standards of ethical and legal integrity across Carolina Caring, including our hospice and palliative care services.

The CCO will collaborate closely with executive leadership to implement effective compliance programs, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, and risk management, with a commitment to ensuring operational excellence in a rapidly evolving hospice and healthcare landscape.

Minimum Experience:

A minimum of five years’ experience in the field of healthcare compliance. Experience with regulatory audits and investigations.

Required Degree:

Minimum of a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required. A bachelor’s degree with additional education in the areas of healthcare compliance and/or legal areas may be considered. Certification in Healthcare Compliance preferred and must be obtained within two years of hire.
