Carolina Caring is seeking a medical doctor to fulfill the organization’s role for physician services related to hospice and palliative medicine.

Minimum Experience:
Member in good standing on the medical staff of hospitals in Carolina Caring’s service area. Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with five years of clinical experience beyond board certification. One year of experience working as a part of an interdisciplinary team preferred. Management and leadership experience preferred.
Required Degree:
A doctor of medicine or osteopathy with a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine under the provisions of the North Carolina Board of Medicine. Board certified in a medical specialty which includes the care of terminally ill patients is preferred. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine within two years of employment is preferred.
