Carolina Caring Celebrates Volunteers’ Years of Service

Carolina Caring recently hosted two special volunteer appreciation events to honor the dedicated individuals who contribute their time and compassion to support patients living with serious illness.

Celebrating Dedication

The first celebration took place on Saturday, April 5th at the Catawba Country Club in Newton, NC, where volunteers gathered for a celebratory brunch. The following day, April 6th, volunteers in Gaston County were honored at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC, where they enjoyed refreshments while reflecting on their contributions throughout the year.

Honoring Years of Service

A highlight of the events was the recognition of four exceptional volunteers who reached significant service milestones:

25 Years of Service

  • Beverly Ellis of Vale, NC

20 Years of Service

  • Donna Bush of Hickory, NC
  • Paula Fulbright of Newton, NC
  • Alicia Wilkins of Hickory, NC

“We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful group of volunteers, and we are honored to recognize our years of service volunteers for their commitment to our patients and families,” said Kelly Tate, Vice President, Patient & Caregiver Experience, Carolina Caring. “It is a privilege to work with all of these wonderful individuals; their passion is nothing short of inspiring.”
