Dana Killian Appointed Chair of the Board for The Chamber of Catawba County

Dana Killian, President & CEO of Carolina Caring, has been appointed Chair of the Board for The Chamber of Catawba County for the year 2025. Killian assumes this role following her year-long tenure as Vice Chair under the leadership of immediate past Chair, Pat Carver. The appointment occurred during The Chamber of Catawba County’s 53rd Annual Meeting & Reception on Tuesday, February 25th at the Hickory Metro Convention Center.

“It is an honor to help lead such a respected and effective group of leaders as we respond to the evolving needs of our community,” says Killian. “By working together with a shared mission, The Chamber will continue to drive Catawba County’s success for years to come.”

Killian, who joined the Carolina Caring team in 2020 as President & CEO, embodies the spirit of compassionate care that is crucial to Carolina Caring’s Palliative and Hospice services. With a background in Business and Healthcare Administration, she continues to drive the organization forward in best practices for serious illness care.

As Board Chair, Killian will work alongside Lindsay Keisler, President & CEO, The Chamber of Catawba County as well as the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors to help advance The Chamber’s strategic priorities.

“The Chamber’s success is built on the strength of its leadership, and Dana Killian’s deep commitment to our business community makes her an outstanding choice to serve as our 2025 Board Chair,” says Keisler. “Her vision and passion for regional collaboration will help propel our strategic priorities forward, ensuring that The Chamber remains a catalyst for business growth and economic opportunity in Catawba County.”
